I build sculpture and installation art to represent my perpetual clinging to fear and hope. These opposing forces of attachment and aversion are the core emotions that guide my path. The work is a meditation to observe, process and release personal stories. I represent these stories by fabricating relics that infer a prior usefulness - their ‘hey-day’. Through a continued loyalty to a specific vocabulary of materials, a larger story is revealed. The work is a mirror.
