I am here.

I create stuff and solve problems.

I‘ve been making and customizing things as far back as I can remember. Growing up, I modeled my father’s DIY mindset and pragmatic construction skills and drew inspiration from my mother’s ever-changing creative interests. Lincoln Logs and Legos led to grade school art- and shop classes, straight through to an MFA at the Ohio State University and beyond.

Sculptures grew into large-scale installations. This work sparked interest in designing the aesthetics and flow of public spaces, and before long I ventured into commercial interior design. 17 years later, I stepped away from from that career to get back to working with my hands and making things. It’s been an exciting and fulfilling period of transition.

These days I am teaching studio art courses at Westchester Community College and freelancing as a contractor/handyman/graphic designer.

Currently in search of my next adventure…
